The Chery Tiggo 4 Pro won the Best Urban Car under $30K in this year’s Drive Car of the Year awards. Here’s everything you need to know about this value-packed small SUV.

The Chery Tiggo 4 Pro was awarded the 2025 Best Urban Car under $30K for its great value, cabin space, technology, and affordable running costs.

The little Chery arrived in Australia in October 2024 and has quickly found favour with buyers, with sales rising from 354 units in its first month to a solid 1018 in January 2025.

Like what you see? Here’s everything you need to know to buy the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro that is right for you!

How much is the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro?

There are two variants of the Tiggo 4 Pro. The range starts at $23,990 drive-away for the Urban, and steps to $26,990 drive-away for the Ultimate.

The Tiggo 4 Pro Urban comes with LED headlights, twin 10.25-inch displays, support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a rear-view camera and rear parking sensors, whereas the Urban adds a powered sunroof, heated seats and a 360-degree 3D parking camera.

The Chery Tiggo 4 Pro is backed by a seven-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty, with seven years of capped-price servicing, and up to seven years of roadside assistance.

What colours is it available in?

The Tiggo 4 Pro is available in five colours across both model grades: Martian Red, Lunar White, Star Silver, Mercurial Grey, Space Black.

All colours except Martian Red attract a $500 premium paint option cost.

Which variant do we recommend?

The Drive judges recommend the top-specification Ultimate. The Ultimate offers a range of extra features over the Urban for just $3000 more, and makes what is an affordable car feel just a little bit special.

We’d choose Martian Red as not only does it look fantastic, but it is a no-cost option. There are a range of accessories available too, so we’d add the carpet floor mats ($200) as well.

What is the best deal on a Chery Tiggo 4 Pro?

There are currently 77 Chery dealerships around Australia.

Stock levels are healthy, and with new Tiggo 4 Pro shipments arriving regularly, any wait times should be minimal.

Chery is currently offering (until March 31) the Urban with a finance offer that equates to a repayment of $88 per week (based on 9.88 per cent comparison rate with 15 per cent deposit over the 60-month term and final payment of $7000).

Finance offers depend on your personal circumstances, so always ensure you contact a financial planner before making any finance-based purchases.
