Ferrari’s high-riding, naturally aspirated V12 is now available for first-time Ferrari customers, with the Italian car maker announcing that orders are officially open to all.

The Ferrari Purosangue order books have officially opened for first-time Ferrari customers.

Jan Hendrick Voss, President of Ferrari Australisia, told Drive that “the (order) slot is technically open for new customers” and that “they can go to the dealership and express their interest”.

Buyers should expect to wait until 2026 for their vehicle, and longer for a personalised specification, with a great appetite for their tailor-made program.

The Italian car maker paused orders back in November 2022 due to high demand, with priority given to loyal Ferrari clients who expressed interest.

The pause was lifted in May 2024, and since then, Ferrari has been fulfilling orders for “people with smaller collections, or maybe just one or two Ferraris.”

The first four door, four-seater Ferrari is still highly sough-after, but the luxury manufacturer expressed that production remains capped at 20 per cent of its overall output to not overwhelm other models like the Roma and F8.

"For Australia, we are sitting in the high 10's, but we are still definitely below 20 per cent,” said Hendrick Voss.

The Ferrari Purosangue starts at $728,000 plus on-road costs – almost double the amount of a Lamborghini Urus, and the most expensive Ferrari currently on sale in Australia.

Expect to see the high-riding prancing horse on the road shortly, as local deliveries have commenced.
