The offer is available at participating Nissan dealerships and is open to eligible customers who purchase a car before the end of January 2025.
Nissan is entering the new year by discounting some of its best-selling models in the X-Trail and Qashqai SUVs by up to $5000.
The promotional cashback offer sees the X-Trail receive a discount of $3000 on the entire range, with the exception of the N-Trek and MY24 ST-L variants which had a $5000 price cut.
Nissan says the discount will be applied to the final purchase price, and the offer is only available at participating Nissan dealerships for eligible private customers who buy the vehicle before 31 January 2025.
As a reference, the X-Trail variants included in this promotional offer are priced from $37,750 (before on-road costs) for the base-spec ST variant and reach the range-topping hybrid Nissan X-Trail Ti-L e-Power which kicks off at $58,990 plus on-road fees.
Additionally, the Japanese marque is also offering a $5000 discount on its entire Qashqai SUV range, which is subject to the same terms and conditions.
All vehicles on offer come with Nissan's five-year unlimited kilometre warranty and roadside assistance.
Despite the brand struggling in overseas markets, Nissan cracked the top 10 of the most-sold brands in Australia in 2024 at ninth (45,284) – up 15 per cent from 2023 – outselling GWM in tenth (42,782) and falling behind Isuzu Ute at eighth (48,172).
Nissan’s success in the Australian market is largely spearheaded by the X-Trail, with the SUV ranking eighth most popular by sales volume at 2096 examples in December 2024.
The X-Trail SUV was the brand’s best-selling model throughout 2024, accounting for 17,494 – or approximately 38 per cent – of its new car sales total last year.
