2025 F1 car launch: key details and schedule of London event at O2 Arena

The start of the 2025 F1 World Championship is fast approaching, and this year, the season will kick off with a special collective presentation at the O2 Arena in London. To celebrate Formula One's 75th anniversary, Liberty Media has organized a spectacular event to mark this special occasion. With just weeks to go before the presentation evening, more details about the event's organization have come to light.
Formula One is preparing to blow out 75 candles, and among the events planned to celebrate the championship is the much-anticipated collective car launch, scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
The event will take place at London's O2 Arena, starting at 9:00 PM CET. The show is expected to last approximately two hours and will feature car presentations interspersed with performances, including musical acts by special guests.
During the two-hour London event, the F1 teams will unveil their liveries but will not reveal the technical details of their 2025 cars on live TV. Most likely, teams will showcase older models or show cars on stage at the O2 Arena. This cautious approach aligns with individual presentation events planned by some teams in the days before or after the London show to avoid exposing technical innovations.
Each team will have seven minutes during the show to present their livery. How they use this time will be up to each team, though their plans must be approved by Formula One management.
Another detail that has emerged concerns the presentation order. The team finishing last in the 2024 Constructors’ Championship will open the event. Presentations will then follow in reverse order of the 2024 standings, starting with the last-place team, Stake Sauber, and culminating with the Constructors’ Champion, McLaren.
