Sponsorships seem to be one of the main topics this January, with Mercedes announcing Adidas as their new partner, replacing Tommy Hilfiger, which could now become a new sponsor for Ferrari.

The historic U.S. brand had long been associated with Lewis Hamilton. The British driver, a great fashion enthusiast, has even designed several clothing lines for the American company over the years.

For this reason, after the announcement of Adidas’ arrival at Mercedes, the possibility arises of soon seeing Tommy Hilfiger’s name linked to Ferrari.

The announcement came through a statement released by Mercedes. “We announce a multi-year partnership with Adidas that will unite two historic brands. The collaboration opens the doors of Formula 1 to Adidas, representing a historic moment.”

“Starting in 2025, Adidas and Mercedes will create several products for the entire team and for fans. Limited edition collections are also planned,” the statement reads.

Toto Wolff’s comments
“This agreement marks the beginning of a new era for Mercedes. Adidas is a brand with which we share dedication and the pursuit of excellence. We look forward to collaborating with them to conquer world titles together,” said the Team Principal.
