The long farewell to Scuderia Ferrari
At the peak of his racing maturity, having turned 30 last September, Carlos Sainz can’t help but feel a sense of melancholy about the end of his adventure with Scuderia Ferrari. For Carlos Sainz, this final stretch of the 2024 Formula 1 championship will obviously be emotionally challenging: “My mind is increasingly motivated by the Williams adventure, but I would like to win one more race before saying goodbye to Ferrari.” The Spaniard seemed quite clear on which tracks the SF-24 single-seater will have the best chances in the final six rounds of the championship: “Mexico and Las Vegas.” – the Ferrari driver concluded, ahead of the United States Grand Prix, which is set to take place over 56 laps of the 5.513-kilometre Circuit of The Americas in Austin on Sunday, October 20.
