From Lewis Hamilton’s first run at Fiorano with Ferrari, an important clue about the 2025 livery for F1. As we know, it will be a darker shade of red, as highlighted in exclusive renders by the Italian media. This color is also confirmed by the details on the seven-time world champion's helmet, presented shortly before the test. However, another clue concerns the sponsors.

The moment has finally arrived: Lewis Hamilton took to the track at Fiorano in a Ferrari, for a session of about thirty laps. The testing began around 9:17 a.m., when the British driver went out for a test lap, immediately returning to the pits. He then completed several stints of varying lengths, crucial for him to familiarize himself with the new team and the car.

The track conditions were not ideal, with very low grip levels, which led Hamilton to make some lock-ups and minor mistakes in his line. Despite this, the day can be considered positive, representing an important step in the integration of the seven-time world champion into the Maranello team.

Ferrari livery: that blue on the rear wing
From Lewis Hamilton's first laps, an interesting detail about the SF-23 can be noted. While the car's color, aside from the placement of the sponsors, has remained largely unchanged, the rear wing has changed: from the front, the blue HP logo on a white background can be seen, already used during 2024. From the rear, however, the reverse is surprising: the white IBM logo on a blue background.

It is not yet clear whether all of this will be confirmed on the new livery to be presented in February, but the feeling is that the roles of HP and IBM will be crucial in the coloring of the upcoming Red car.
