Following the enthusiasm for the splendid race win in the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, Ferrari is looking to perform well in the remaining stages of the 2024 Formula 1 championship. More significant aero updates are on the way for the Ferrari SF-24 after the introduction of a revolutionary floor. Ferrari arrived at Monza, their home race, with high expectations from the updates introduced to the SF-24. The new floor and the new rear wing allowed the Scuderia to win with a one-stop strategy against the aggressive McLaren. However, something is still missing to further improve the car for Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc. It seems that another important update is on the way for the Ferrari SF-24 in the upcoming races, following the introduction of the new floor at Monza.

According to information gathered by F1inGenerale at the start of the Monza weekend, the new floor is the result of a completely new design with a clear focus on the 2025 Formula 1 campaign. After introducing this specific component, Ferrari should be able to extract more performance by optimizing the aero-mechanical package. To further enhance the performance of the updated SF-24, a new crucial part for managing the airflow over the car is expected to arrive.

In fact, according to paddock sources, something new is expected for the SF-24 in Singapore. The front area is one of the potential targets for the Ferrari technicians, possibly with the introduction of a newly designed front wing. This component will be crucial and should lay the foundation for 2025 when the 677 will return to a pull-rod front suspension.

Further confirmation of something new coming for the Ferrari SF-24 also comes from Mara Sangiorgio, who highlighted the arrival of "other significant updates" in her Monza GP summary. Following in the footsteps of Sky F1 Italia journalist, Carlo Vanzini also reported the arrival of updates for the SF-24. It's not yet clear whether these updates will debut in Singapore or Austin, but expectations are high.

If a new front wing arrives between the Singapore and Texas rounds, Scuderia Ferrari could unlock additional performance and bring the title fight to three teams. It's unclear if this new component will feature the same technology used on the MCL38, but it could provide important feedback for the development of the 677 Project.
