First pictures: ongoing work at Las Vegas GP Formula 1 track

Thanks to some of images presented by f1ingenerale.com, we are able to see a photo gallery of the extensive work being done on the Las Vegas construction site in view of the Formula 1 Grand Prix that will take place in 2023.

Although there is still one year left before the return of the highly anticipated Las Vegas GP, Formula 1 is already moving forward in view of the event which will be held on November 18, right in the Nevada town. The focus is obviously not only on the layout of the circuit but also on the very glamorous surroundings, which will see the Formula 1 single-seaters whizzing through the well-known streets of Las Vegas. You can also see some Formula 1-themed billboards already on display.

As mentioned in a previous article, Formula 1 has decided to slightly modify the original layout presented a few months ago, adding a chicane that has increased the number of corners from 14 to 17. Impressive top speeds are also expected, with over 340 km/h on the straight. According to some drivers, with the slipstream effect and the DRS wide open, it could even reach 370 km/h. The cars will also pass alongside the famous Las Vegas strip, keeping wide-open throttle for almost two kilometres. All while passing in front of the most iconic landmarks of the city.

Formula 1 had already started to raise hype among the fans, organizing a launch party on November 5th. For the occasion, we saw several drivers perform donuts along American roads in front of thousands of fans. Furthermore, some promotional videos released by Red Bull showed us the Austrian car even passing through the corridors of a well-known casino in Las Vegas. Finally, on the billboards already displayed on the construction site, it is possible to notice the words “Future Home GP”.
