Is there a social page where all the drivers gather? Yes, as of Monday, November 4, the Grand Prix Drivers' Association's social page is officially on Instagram, bringing together all the current F1 drivers racing in the top tier of motorsport.
The Instagram page, with the username "grandprixdriversassociation," was made public and is followed by the 20 current drivers, plus Sebastian Vettel and Alex Wurz. The page is brand new, and within minutes, it already began gaining followers from the motorsport world and beyond.

But what is the Grand Prix Drivers' Association? It's simply the union of all F1 drivers, founded in May 1961. The association has a long history and serves as a platform for drivers to connect and make collective decisions.
Membership is not mandatory; for instance, Kimi Raikkonen was not part of the association in the past. There is also a president, elected by all members. The current president is George Russell, with Alex Wurz as his deputy.
The purpose of the page isn't yet clear. Its description currently reads, "The current drivers of Formula 1 #RacingUnited for our safety, our sport, our fans." We'll need to wait for further updates to understand the page's role.
One possible use might be to keep fans informed about decisions the drivers make or their responses to FIA choices. Recently, drivers have voiced their opinions more frequently, especially after various penalties, to express disagreement with some FIA rulings. So, a new chapter could be about to begin.
