Fred Vasseur ready for Baku: "Let's bring home another important result!"

The Baku weekend must confirm the promising things seen in the Italian Grand Prix. Scuderia Ferrari is aiming to maintain its momentum after the success at the Monza circuit in front of the Tifosi with Charles Leclerc: the track in Azerbaijan is another atypical circuit that could showcase the qualities of the SF-24.
Fred Vasseur, team principal of Scuderia Ferrari, is counting on a competitive Maranello team, driven by the enthusiasm shown by fans at the temple of speed…
“The Baku city track combines very fast sections with particularly twisty areas and is unique in its kind. Historically, we’ve always been quite competitive on this track. Morale after the Monza victory is high, and we are determined to maintain our current form, although, once again, we expect a very close fight among the top four teams.”
In Maranello, they are aware of their strengths, but they also know how difficult it is to stay at the top when there are four teams with closely matched performances…
“I often say it’s important to focus on ourselves, and I’m convinced that’s the right approach, because we’ve seen huge changes in the team rankings compared to the first part of the season.”
Fred Vasseur hopes the team can achieve another perfect weekend…
“Our victory in Italy shows that the way you approach the weekend from Friday to Sunday can play as important a role as the car’s performance level. So, with Charles and Carlos, we will once again aim to execute everything perfectly in Baku, to try to bring home another important result for the team.”
