A debut with a bang
Over the past ten days, Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari have dominated the motorsport spotlight, from the iconic photos of his visit to Maranello to his first contact with the red car—though it was the SF-23 from two years ago, as per regulations.
After the single day at Fiorano, the Scuderia moved to Barcelona for testing from Tuesday, January 28, to Thursday, January 30. Hamilton was on track for the first two days, ending his Wednesday morning session with an incident—fortunately without consequences—that caused significant damage to the SF-23.

As confirmed by Pirelli, Ferrari and Hamilton will return to the track at Montmeló on February 4-5 with an SF-24 specifically prepared to test the experimental 2026 tires for the Italian manufacturer.
In a social media post on Instagram this evening, Lewis Hamilton shared a series of photos, including one where he is seen taking notes in a notebook, accompanied by a telling caption: “The first race can never come soon enough.”
Lewis Hamilton is clearly eager, but he will have to wait nearly three more weeks before getting into the SF-25, as Ferrari’s shakedown of the new Maranello-built car is scheduled for February 19 at Fiorano.
