Lewis Hamilton's debut in the 2023 Ferrari thrilled fans and enthusiasts, but it was only a first taste of the track in what promises to be an intense pre-season for the Briton, who is now targeting additional tests, this time with the 2024 F1 car.
The Fiorano event marked Lewis Hamilton's first time in red, just days into his work at Maranello. On Wednesday, January 22, Hamilton hit the track in the 2023 car, cheered on by fans. The 40-year-old from Stevenage covered nearly 100 km on the circuit adjacent to Ferrari's factory.
The TPC test at Fiorano, however, was only Sir Lewis's first contact with the red car. The #44 will also take to the track in Barcelona, at the Montmeló circuit, on two separate occasions. In the final week of January, Ferrari's duo will conduct further TPC (Test Previous Cars) sessions with the SF-23.

But the testing program, at least for the new arrival, does not stop there. It now seems certain that Lewis Hamilton will return to the track with Ferrari in Barcelona just days after the TPC tests, with the highlighted dates being Tuesday, February 4, and Wednesday, February 5.
During these two days, Lewis Hamilton is expected to take part in some Pirelli tests with experimental tires. On this occasion, as permitted by regulations, the Briton will be able to drive the 2024 Ferrari car.
This adds further commitments to Lewis Hamilton's schedule in the weeks leading up to 2025, as reported by AutoRacer.it. The British champion will then participate in the London livery presentation on February 18, the unveiling of the Ferrari car on February 19, and the 2025 pre-season tests in Bahrain at the end of the month.
