Ferrari's future will be on track with Haas: Oliver Bearman is set to make his F1 debut. The young Briton, after promising first experiences last season, will take part in his first full championship in the Circus. It's an opportunity to grow and prove himself, alongside Esteban Ocon, a talented and experienced driver. Could his future in Maranello already be written?

2024 was a dream season for Oliver Bearman. Despite a less-than-stellar Formula 2 campaign, mainly due to issues that slowed Prema's progress, his three outings in the top series showcased his undeniable talent. If the points in Jeddah seemed "ordinary," given they were earned in an SF-24, his tenth-place finish in Azerbaijan certainly was not.

In just a few weeks, he will be back on track, this time as a full-time driver. The American seat is a springboard toward a brilliant future. He also seems somewhat destined for greatness: for the next two years, Maranello will have Lewis Hamilton, but after that, who knows? A strong performance with the satellite team could secure him a new and lasting opportunity in red.

Oliver Bearman: "Battling with Hamilton was a dream come true"
Speaking to BBC Look East, the young Briton appeared determined: "I hope we can continue [on last season's positive trajectory], but it's hard to say—we haven't driven the car yet and don't know where we stand compared to other teams in terms of progress."

"So I think my goals are simply to focus on myself, to be proud of my performances, to keep growing and developing throughout the year, and that's what I'm concentrating on."

"Last year, I had a taste—three races—that left me wanting more. And this year, I have 24 races, so I can't wait. In my first race with Ferrari, I was mostly nervous. It was the hardest day of my life, stepping into an F1 car, into a Red." – the Ferrari junior pointed out.

"But having two more races and being able to prepare, knowing that would be the car I'd race with next year—meaning this year—was really great. I was able to take everything in and learn a lot. In fact, in every race I took part in, I battled on track with Lewis [Hamilton]. It was truly a dream come true—to race against someone so famous, so talented, the greatest F1 driver we've ever had." – Oliver Bearman concluded.
