Former Scuderia Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel has never stopped his social activism and, once again, he chose to honor Ayrton Senna in Brazil. In São Paulo, he launched a project he is still working on with local artists and activists.
Ahead of the Brazilian Grand Prix weekend, he presented the project through a live social media event and a reel showing him working alongside carpenters (CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE VIDEO). The video highlights issues such as the poverty faced by the Brazilian people and the lack of access to education.
Vettel's New Tribute to Senna
Sebastian Vettel is also wearing a t-shirt dedicated to Ayrton Senna. On the front, it displays the slogan "Keep the legacy alive" along with cartoon-like figures of Vettel and Senna.
On the back of the shirt, one of Senna’s most famous quotes is printed: "Wealthy men can't live in an island that is encircled by poverty. We all breathe the same air. We must give a chance to everyone, at least a basic chance."
Once again, Sebastian Vettel confirms the humanity that characterized his F1 career. Despite his retirement, he remains active and engaged in the world of racing and everything associated with it, especially in remembering those, like Ayrton Senna, who contributed so much and left too soon.
