Last Sunday in Zurich, Tadej Pogacar delivered an unforgettable performance, securing his first-ever Rainbow Jersey in spectacular fashion. His influence in the cycling world is undeniable, and to celebrate this milestone, he recently teamed up with Ferrari and Formula 1 star Carlos Sainz.
"Celebrating my friend Tadej Pogacar's World Champion title with a 'Pogaccia' in Monaco!" the Ferrari driver wrote on social media, sharing a photo of the newly crowned champion alongside a video of the duo enjoying a training ride through Monaco.
In the clip, Pogacar playfully asks, "Hey Carlos, how was that focaccia today?" To which Carlos Sainz responds, "Good! For a recovery ride, it was perfect. But for me, it felt like a zone 4 ride!" He humorously highlights the difference in speed between riding a bike and racing in a car during the Monaco Grand Prix. Pogacar chuckles and adds, "Today was also hard for me!"
