The countdown is almost over. In less than a week, we will finally have the first images of Lewis Hamilton as a Ferrari driver. In the meantime, the Briton has posted a video on social media, where he is seen enjoying himself with friends during what are likely the last days of vacation before the new season.
The seven-time world champion is expected in Italy early next week. According to the latest reports, the schedule includes some simulator sessions at Maranello and a test day at Fiorano to start getting familiar with the car and engineers.
After all his years at Mercedes, Lewis Hamilton will need a period of adaptation to help him and Ferrari prepare as effectively as possible for the upcoming season.
The mountain video
This is likely the last social media post before his journey with the Prancing Horse begins. “Mountain man,” reads the caption accompanying the post.
In the footage, the British champion and some friends can be seen having fun snowboarding. The curiosity? Number 44's suit is red, which seems far from coincidental.
