"We need a little more time, but we don't have it... at the start of the race weekend, we'll continue testing."

Despite six days of testing, Andrea Iannone feels like he needs 'more time' to prepare his Team Pata GoEleven Ducati for the 2025 World Superbike season.

Iannone made his debut in the Superbike Championship last season and his first race was in Phillip Island. Which is also the same venue as the 2025 season opener this weekend.

Last year the Italian featured on the podium in Australia and has been inside the top two throughout the two days of testing in Phillip Island.

Iannone believed he could still improve and after the opening day of the Phillip Island Test Iannone stated that he had 'big plans' for the final day. However, he did not have enough time to complete his testing plan due to the poor weather conditions.

"Unfortunately, we had rain and wet conditions in the afternoon for about an hour, which completely disrupted our strategy," Iannone said at the end of the second day of testing in Australia.

"But in any case, we worked very well this morning and understood a few things. For sure, we need a little more time, but we don't have it.

"Now, on Friday, at the start of the race weekend, we'll continue testing some things to decide on our setup for the races. In any case, I think we're starting the season with a good feeling on the bike and with the team.

"Of course, there are still areas where we need to improve, but that's always the case – we always push to improve and be ready for the weekend.

"I'm confident, and like I said before, I think we'll start in good shape."
