It's been about eight months since the all-new Toyota 4Runner debuted, and it was long overdue; the N280 generation that precedes the 2025 4Runner was introduced way back in 2014. For the new generation, everything has been upgraded inside and out, and that comes at a cost, especially on the upper trims. But at the bottom of the range, the big news is that the base SR5 model is only $65 more expensive, starting at $40,770 for 2025 ($40,705 for 2024). If you must have a top-tier model, the good news is that the 4Runner still outprices the competition, and by a long way.
