A couple of years ago, McLaren Special Operations announced one heck of a gift for owners of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. The 20-year-old supercar was about to get a big performance upgrade in the form of a High Downforce Kit. The SLR HDK was an homage to an SLR racer that never raced. The package doubled the price of the car and only 12 were built. All were SLR coupes.
