100… and definitely not out!

The final round of the 2025 Arenacross British championship in Manchester's AO Arena on Saturday 22nd February will be something special as it's also a celebration of the 100th night of Arenacross action and the second qualifying round for the race to Abu Dhabi, where notable names like Dean Wilson, Conrad Mewse and former champions Cedric Soubeyras, Thomas Ramette, Jack Brunell, Tommy Searle and Adam Chatfield will all be gunning for a spot in the AX World Tour Finals.

For over a decade the Arenacross championship has sold out most of the UK's major arenas, shifting one quarter of a million tons of dirt in and out of them and seen over 1,000 riders take part. The tour which started out at the O2 Arena, London in 2013 has then gone on to also visit, Birmingham, Liverpool, Sheffield, Newcastle, Manchester, Belfast, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Wembley, London many times over, bringing off road motorcycling to those cities but more importantly, Arenacross has packaged the sport into an incredibly entertaining show and put it live in front of half a million people.

The Arenacross team are now planning to produce the best show to date and bring a special party atmosphere to the AO Arena to celebrate hitting the milestone of 100 of AX shows. To coincide with the 100th event it just happens to be the final round of the 2025 Arenacross British championship and the second qualifying round of the Arenacross World Tour and the race to the final in Abu Dhabi. So, with championships on the line across all the classes and the last chance to get to the World Tour finals the racing will no doubt be epic and add to the party atmosphere.

“When we started Arenacross back in 2013 at the O2 in London, I personally set ourselves some pretty tough challenges – one being to reach 10 years and 100 nights of action. So, to now sit here and reflect, I can’t help but be incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved" says Arenacross owner and promoter Matt Bates.

"Over half a million fans have come out to watch Arenacross in that time, showcasing dirt bikes to so many news fans, creating legends of the sport, and giving endless opportunities to young talent is enough to be proud of… but it's so much more than this. The one thing that stands out for me is the fact that every night we stage an AX event, a handful of new young fans take their first steps into riding. And over these 100 nights of Arenacross we have attracted so many new riders and fans to the sport."

A great example of that will be the extra on track action at the AO Arena in the form of the 'Amped race to Manchester' where AX will see another 10 new youth racers having their first 'AX Experience' in the form of a kids balance bike race, where the winner will go home with a new bike and hopefully all 10 racers will enjoy their moment and want to be a pro racer one day. Also expect to see a few notable celebrities from TV and the sport having their first taste of Arenacross in a celebrity minibike bike race.

As always, the Freestyle MX riders will deliver the goods, whipping up the crowd as well as their bikes with another jaw dropping performance of aerial excellence. On the ground the 'Fuel Girls' will definitely be adding extra heat to the show with more flames as the pyrotechnics, light and lazer show goes on around them. The 100th night of Arenacross is going to be an 'all in' showcase of what it's all about, with champions crowned, so don't miss it.
