Adam Alexander will lead the broadcast team for The CW’s coverage of the NASCAR Xfinity Series beginning this season.

Alexander will be the lead play-by-play announcer alongside race analysts Jamie McMurray and Parker Kligerman. Dillon Welch and Kim Coon will be the reporters on pit road and Carla Gebhart will host 'NASCAR Countdown Live,' a studio show, before every race.

Alexander is formerly of Fox Sports where he led the Xfinity Series coverage and co-hosted 'NASCAR Race Hub.' In his role with The CW, he will not only lead the broadcast but development content for NASCAR and CW platforms.

McMurray is a former Daytona 500 winner and Brickyard 400 winner. He called multiple races for Fox Sports in 2023 (in the Xfinity Series and Cup Series) and served as an analyst for all Fox pre-race and in-race studio coverage. Additionally, McMurray was a regular on 'NASCAR Race Hub.'

In his career, McMurray earned 16 wins across the three NASCAR national series and made 799 starts.

As for Kligerman, he heads to the booth fresh from the racetrack. Kligerman ran the full Xfinity Series season in 2023 and 2024 with Big Machine Racing. He also served as an analyst and pit reporter with NBC Sports beginning in 2015.

Kligerman has 122 starts in the Xfinity Series. He announced in September he was retiring from full-time competition.

The CW begins its coverage with the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, Feb. 15. It will carry the entire season, which will be the first time in history that all 33 races are available on free, over-the-air broadcast television.
