For 2025, NASCAR has new broadcast partners. The CW is airing NASCAR Xfinity Series coverage nationwide in the United States.
On Saturday night, NXS raced at Phoenix Raceway in Arizona. Alex Bowman and Aric Almirola were side by side and rubbing doors in the battle for the win.

And on the final lap, some viewers saw the feed to the race abruptly cut in one area. The broadcast was shown without the error, to most viewers.
However, a local affiliate station switched the race to a baseball commercial on the white flag lap. That affiliate was Peachtree TV in Atlanta.
According to those viewers who were very vocal on social media, the finish of the race never aired.
CW issued statement
On Sunday, the CW issued the following statement:
“We appreciate that our affiliates are still learning the power of our new programming and the implications that has for serving our collective viewers,” the CW opened.
“Our local affiliate in Atlanta has acknowledged the mistake in prematurely ending coverage of yesterday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race, and we have been assured this will not happen again.”
“We will continue to work closely with our affiliates to ensure that the entire Xfinity Series continues to receive the premium treatment racing fans deserve.”
