LAS VEGAS – Coming off his third trip to NASCAR Victory Lane in a row – Atlanta, COTA and Phoenix – Joe Gibbs Racing driver Christopher Bell is hoping Las Vegas Motor Speedway brings him his fourth win in a row; although nothing is expected.

"I mean, I'm just excited about it. One thing is for sure – nothing that has happened the last three weeks means anything for this week," Bell said. "Everything is still ahead of me and nothing is set, and we have to go out there and perform as soon as the green flag drops in practice, we have to qualify well, and we have to execute the race."

In 2024, Bell was the runner-up in the fall race, coming in behind Kyle Larson. During that race, Bell had a shot to win but cautions and tire wear were a major factor in keeping him from passing Larson. It was his second runner-up finish in three races in Las Vegas.

Last week, Bell only led 105 laps at Phoenix Raceway, but at COTA, he led eight, and at Atlanta Motor Speedway, he led only one.

"I'm optimistic on how we are going to perform because this has been a strong track for us in the past, but I'm just trying very hard to not get ahead of myself and understand it is a new week," he said. "It's a different race and everyone is going to be bringing their best stuff to try to beat me. I'm optimistic about how we are going to perform, but I know it is a tall task."

As it stands, Bell is the first driver since Larson did it in 2021 to win three races in a row. The last driver to win four in a row was seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson in 2007, when he won at Atlanta, Martinsville, Texas and Phoenix.

"Obviously, it is special," Bell said. "That is the cliché answer, but it is something I take a lot of pride in. It is crazy to think about. Just the time I've been in the Cup Series, it feels like a long time, but then you look at stuff like that, and I'm still pretty young in my career. I'm just trying to soak it all in and enjoy the moment. It's a dream come true to be compared to or be in the same category with guys that I'm having a chance to tie their stats or going with their stats. I guess time will tell how it all turns out, but it's definitely an honor – win or lose – to be in that conversation."
