“He hasn’t learned not one thing”
Carson Hocevar is a NASCAR Cup Series rookie for the 2025 season. The driver has built a reputation, not only in the Cup series but as he climbed the ladder system in recent years.
Several weeks ago, Kyle Busch was highly frustrated with Carson Hocevar during the race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Kyle Busch stated over the team radio, “Go tell that No. 77 he’s done that same (expletive) move ten times. I don’t care if I wreck the whole (expletive) field, I’m over him! He’s a (expletive). I’m going to wreck his (expletive).”
He wasn’t the only one.
After the race, both Ryan Blaney and Ross Chastain lined up on the pit lane to have a chat with Hocevar after the finish.

Kyle Busch comments on Carson Hocevar
“Not a word,” Kyle Busch told Kevin Harvick via the Happy Hour Podcast on if Hocevar reached out.
“The Hocevar problem, the biggest problem I have with him is when he was 13-14 years old, whatever it was. I was racing at one of his home track in Michigan with a Super Late Model, while I was a Cup guy. It was Kalamazoo.”
“Lap 8, lap 11, somewhere early in the race. Like, I wasn’t that great. But, I was going to bide my time and I was just riding.”
“He comes right up alongside of me, sideswipes me, puts me in the frontstrech fence and goes on.”
“And I’m like, “What the hell just happened?’ “
“Never, nothing after the fact. Never a sorry, ‘Hey, My bad.’ “
“And, same thing right now. It’s just like he hasn’t learned not one thing because he hasn’t been under someone’s wing this entire time.”
Several years ago, Matt Kenseth famously junked Joey Logano at Martinsville Speedway. That incident largely stemmed from Logano not reaching out to Kenseth after a prior incident.
