After an underwhelming 2023 season, Alex Lowes returned to the sharp end in 2024 in his fifth year with the Kawasaki Racing Team.
Alex Lowes competed in his 11th World Superbike season in 2024, and he ended his time in Kawasaki green.
The 2023 World Superbike season was Alex Lowes' worst year with the Kawasaki Racing Team as he ended the season in 11th with one podium to his name. However, the 2024 season saw him bounce back and fight at the front on his ZX-10RR.
Last season was also Alex's first chance to compete against his brother, Sam Lowes, in the World Superbike Championship.
Alex Lowes doubled his World Superbike win count in 2024 as he won two races throughout the season. The British rider also stood on the podium 10 further times throughout the year and scored 316 points, which was enough to end the year in fourth in the standings.
After an inconsistent past, Lowes turned his consistency around in 2024 as he fought at the front in every round. The 34-year-old only retired from four races and missed out on the top ten in only two races of the 30 that he completed.
In 2025 Lowes will line up on the World Superbike grid for the Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team. The veteran Superbike rider will compete on the new KB998 as he heads Bimota's return to World Superbikes.
