There has not been any progress towards Scott Redding's 2025 plans as BMW contract holds up negotiations.

Scott Redding was very open and honest about the lack of updates towards his plans for 2025. The British rider is currently with the Bonovo Action BMW Team, who will not exist in 2025. However, Redding has a contract with BMW for the 2025 season, but both BMW seats on the grid are filled.

There have been rumours that Redding could go to the newly branded MGM Ducati Team for 2025. But this clashes with his contract with BMW for next year. Redding seems to be stuck with contract negotiations as there is no BMW on the 2025 grid for him.

Redding's future relies on a new BMW team entering the Championship for next season, or BMW breaking his contract.

When asked about his future Redding stated: "There has been no forward progress shall we say. You know what my commitments are, I am feeling good where I am and with BMW. I am just waiting to see an outcome at the moment.

"Time is ticking, which is not good looking at the scenario. But I am doing the best I can, this weekend I would like to get some more results that could help me in my future with BMW."

Redding was asked if his aim is to stay in WorldSBK for 2025, which he stated: "Yes. The thing is we know I have a contract. My aim and reality is to stay here in Superbikes with BMW. There is not really much more I can tell you, if you need to know more you know who you need to ask and that is all I can tell you."
