Tickets to the opening round of the 2025 F1 season go on sale to the general public today – but be warned, prices may be higher than you expect.

UPDATE, 8 October 2024: Tickets to the 2025 Formula One Australian Grand Prix go on sale to the general public at 12:00pm AEDT (Sydney/Melbourne time) today.

Two pre-sales have already taken place – one on 2 October for members of the paid Access24 program, and another yesterday, 7 October for those selected as part of a pre-sale ballot.

Interested fans should note Ticketmaster is expected to charge ‘in-demand prices’ given the high level of demand expected, meaning the prices advertised on the ticket sale portal may be much higher than the base prices listed in the tables below.

One fan contacted by Drive who was accepted into yesterday’s ballot pre-sale entered the queue to purchase a $625 two-day ticket for the Fangio Grandstand, only to find its true ‘in-demand’ price was about $840 – a mark-up of 34 per cent.
