Discounts on a raft of GWM Australian showroom models – including its Cannon dual-cab ute, electric Ora hatch and Jolion SUV best-seller – will end on March 31.

Discounts of up to $6000 across the GWM Australia will come to an end on March 31, 2025 – making this weekend the final opportunity for buyers of a new vehicle from the best-selling Chinese brand in the country.

The March promotion comes off the back of strong GWM February sales in Australia, which grew 8.5 per cent for a year-to-date increase of 9.2 per cent.

This saw GWM seventh in the local sales charts, one place ahead of MG to be the most popular Chinese auto brand in the country for the month.

That's three places higher than GWM's 2024 effort which saw it finish 10th overall, achieving a sales jump of 17.5 per cent – more than any other brand in the top ten.

Capitalising on the momentum, range-wide drive-away pricing includes $6000 off the GWM Cannon-XSR dual-cab ute – now $45,490 drive-away – with between $1000 and $2000 off the entry-level Cannon, Cannon Lux, cab-chassis and Vanta models.

All versions of the GWM Tank 300 hybrid get $5000 off, with Tank 300 Lux Hybrid $49,990 drive-away and the Tank 300 Ultra Hybrid $54,990 drive-away.

Order white paint and the price falls a further $1405, with the Tank 300 Lux Hybrid $48,585 drive-away and Ultra Hybrid $53,585 drive-away.

The non-hybrid Tank 300 on sale – which uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, 17-inch wheels and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen – starts at $43,585 drive-away in white ($44,990 in other colours) for the Lux. The recently added Tank 300 diesel is not included in the offers.

The Ultra adds 18-inch chrome alloys, a higher grade of faux leather seat upholstery and is $47,585 drive-away in white, $48,990 in other colours.

The GWM Haval Jolion SUV was the brand's best seller in Australia last month – and in 2024 – and gets up to $3000 off the Premium version which is the cheapest at $23,990 drive-away.

The Jolion Lux is the next step up – adding better seat trim among its upgrades – at $26,990 drive-away.

The Jolion Hybrid is $31,990 drive-away, with the Lux Hybrid $34,990 and the Ultra Hybrid $37,990 drive-away.

The Haval H6 SUV – facelifted in 2024 – starts at $30,990 drive-away for the Premium petrol, $33,990 drive-away for the Lux petrol and $35,990 for the H6 Ultra.

Hybrid versions of the H6 are $36,990 drive-away for the Lux and $40,990 drive-away for the Ultra.

The Ora electric hatchback doesn't miss out, with $2000 off the Standard Range (310km) model at $32,990 drive-away and the Extended Range – with a claimed 420km – is  $4000 cheaper at $35,990 drive-away.

The promotional prices have fallen lower than the previous standard reductions made to the tweaked GWM range in late 2024, which saw cuts of between $1000 and $2000 to drive-away prices.
