Only the most attentive fans will have noticed a significant mistake on the suit Carlos Sainz wears to bid farewell to Ferrari in Abu Dhabi.
Ferrari makes a rather glaring blunder with Carlos Sainz in Abu Dhabi. Only the most observant fans, in fact, will have noticed that the Spaniard is racing at Yas Marina with a special celebratory suit to mark his departure from the team that has been his home for the past four years.
To honor him, Ferrari chose a suit featuring an Italian tricolor on the front of the prancing horse logo and, on the back, a list of his podiums and victories. However, in this list, there is a notable error that is starting to spark discussions.
In fact, for 2024, a second place at Silverstone, Great Britain, is listed. But the Spaniard did not step on the podium on British soil. Missing from the list is the Austin, United States, podium. Ferrari, therefore, confused the two podiums achieved by Sainz. Moreover, Austin marked a Ferrari one-two finish, the result that effectively reignited their championship hopes.

"It will certainly be a very emotional and intense weekend, not only because it's my last with Ferrari but also due to the battle in the constructors' championship. It's been a challenging year with many things happening behind the scenes, but I'm proud of how I've handled every situation, and I'm ready to fight until the end," the Spaniard said before the Abu Dhabi weekend.
"Leaving Ferrari as constructors' champion? It would mean everything to me, the best way to say goodbye to a team that has been my home for the last four years. However, to be honest, recovering 21 points in just one weekend against a strong team like McLaren will be difficult. It requires perfection on our part and a less-than-optimal weekend on theirs. But nothing is impossible in racing."
