As every year, F1 celebrates Christmas with a Secret Santa organized in such a way that the drivers can exchange gifts among themselves. As usual, during the last race of the year, in Abu Dhabi, there are moments where the drivers enjoy unwrapping gifts amid jokes and laughter.

In the 2024 Secret Santa, 14 out of 20 drivers participated. The notable absentees were Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez, Fernando Alonso, Nico Hulkenberg, and Kevin Magnussen. The rest of the drivers, however, had fun with the usual exchange.

Here are all the gifts exchanged among the drivers. George Russell received a manual from Liam Lawson titled “Would You Like to Be a Model? Find Out What Agents and Talent Scouts Are Looking For,” a gift likely linked to the Englishman's passion for fashion. Lawson, in turn, received a Lightning McQueen model from Oscar Piastri.

Oscar Piastri got padel lessons from Alex Albon, an ideal gift to hone his skills in this sport, which is becoming increasingly popular among the drivers. Alex Albon, in turn, received a stuffed panda and a postcard depicting Bottas in an exhibitionist pose.

The Finnish driver, in turn, received a triathlon training manual and frog-shaped swimming goggles from Esteban Ocon. Ocon found a remote-controlled car from the Exost brand under the tree, a gift from Charles Leclerc.

Drivers between laughter, padel, and much more
Charles Leclerc unwrapped a toy for his dog, Leo, from Yuki Tsunoda, who, in turn, was given a mate by Franco Colapinto, a drink made from the infusion of mate leaves, commonly used in South American countries.

Colapinto, meanwhile, received a puzzle and a set of modeling clay from Carlos Sainz. For the Spaniard, Zhou Guanyu thought of a chili pepper costume, which Carlos Sainz wore at the Ferrari farewell party. For the Chinese driver, a stuffed toy representing his cat from Lando Norris.

Also, for the McLaren driver, a padel-themed gift from George Russell, with private lessons warmly accepted by the papaya-colored driver. Finally, Lance Stroll and Pierre Gasly exchanged gifts. For the Canadian, a Versailles football shirt, and for the Alpine driver, a personalized shirt for playing padel.
