Lewis Hamilton will continue to familiarize himself with his role as a Ferrari driver during a private testing session this week, where he will be joined by teammate Charles Leclerc at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona.

Ferrari has secured the track for three days, running from January 28 to 30, with the venue serving as the host for the Spanish Grand Prix.

On Tuesday, Ferrari shared a photo of Charles Leclerc exiting the garage in the SF-23 car, which was used in the 2023 Formula 1 season.

Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will alternate their driving duties throughout the test, although Ferrari has not revealed the precise details of the schedule, as it remains subject to change.

Due to the “Testing of Previous Car” [TPC] regulations in Formula 1, current race drivers are restricted to 1000 kilometers of running in older F1 cars annually. Despite the stringent limitations on testing imposed by F1 regulations, Ferrari has made sure to provide Hamilton with as much time on track as possible.
