Ferrari steps on the gas
At Ferrari, third place in the drivers’ championship and second in the constructors’ standings have been welcomed as excellent results, emphasizing the progress made compared to the previous year and the competitiveness achieved in the second half of the season. It is no coincidence that since the summer break, Charles Leclerc has been the driver to score the most points (179), outperforming Lando Norris (175) and Max Verstappen (160).
Well done, Charles
Frederic Vasseur reflected on the Monegasque driver’s performance during an interview with La Stampa: “Is Leclerc ready for the championship? For me, yes. He is now more mature and consistent. The victories in Monte Carlo, Monza, and Austin prove that he can handle the pressure; he is not fragile in such situations.”
Regarding the potential Lewis Hamilton – Charles Leclerc pairing, Frederic Vasseur sees no issues on the horizon: “I have good feelings. They respect each other and will collaborate. Charles has been aware of the project from the start, he supports it, and he knows it is an opportunity for him as well.” He concluded: “Would I bet on Hamilton as the 2025 world champion? I would bet on Ferrari.”
