A cohesive team
Despite the difficulties faced during the summer months, Ferrari managed to turn things around, bringing developments to the track that finally delivered positive results. Unlike in recent seasons, the Maranello team was able to analyze weaknesses and implement the best corrections to the technical project, enabling the team to contend for the Constructors’ Championship—eventually won by McLaren Mercedes—up to the final race in Abu Dhabi.

Frederic Vasseur, who arrived in Maranello at the start of 2023, has managed to keep the team united and make the most of its internal resources, demonstrating undeniable leadership qualities. These qualities have translated into a shift in the team’s mentality, often driven and invoked by the French manager in his interviews.

Ferrari’s leadership and Fred Vasseur
In a lengthy interview with Autosprint, Fred Vasseur discussed the unity of purpose with Ferrari’s management, starting with CEO Benedetto Vigna: “We have continuous contact; we have a close relationship. On Grand Prix weekends and when I am in Maranello, we speak every day; we are very aligned. Not only at the end of every event but after every session, there is often a dialogue, a discussion. We share the same goals, which are to constantly improve and never settle. This aligns perfectly with the DNA of our company and the sport we compete in. These motivations are the foundation of a team like Scuderia Ferrari, which always aims to win and be a benchmark for everyone. I receive constructive support from the management; the relationship is close and very good. And this is felt by the team.”
