The highly anticipated film, produced by seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton, has enjoyed unprecedented access to the F1 grid and all 10 teams. Principal photography for the project, which began in 2023, concluded during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend.
Brad Pitt, one of the film's stars, has been spotted at numerous races throughout the season, filming scenes amidst live audiences to capture the sport’s authentic atmosphere. Alongside co-star Damson Idris, who portrays his on-screen teammate, Pitt has also been behind the wheel of the custom-built car designed specifically for capturing dynamic race footage.
Scheduled for a global debut on June 25, 2025, the movie will hit U.S. theaters two days later. Distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and Apple, its release coincides with the lead-up to the Austrian Grand Prix in the 2025 Formula 1 season.
