The reigning World Superbike Champion has threatened to leave the series if the 'Ducati Cup' continues.
After a miserable weekend at Phillip Island Toprak Razgatlioglu has labelled World Superbike's as a 'Ducati Cup'.
The reigning World Champion struggled in Australia as he scored 20 points across the three races. Throughout the weekend he finished one race inside the points and experienced issues in the other two.
"I am never very happy at the first races, last year, two years ago, every year my starts very strange," Razgatlioglu told WorldSBK.com.
"But I am now focused on the next race because we are going to Europe and I will be fighting with all the Ducati's, this is almost like a Ducati Cup. But we have a long break, it is almost one month and I will keep working and come back stronger."
Razgatlioglu went on to explain that he doesn't believe it is 'normal' that all the Ducati's were so fast. The Turkish rider has even claimed that he will not continue in World Superbike if Ducati is allowed to dominate.
"Normally they are strong, [Nicolo] Bulega I am not surprised that he is still fast, and Alvaro [Bautista] was not bad.
"But this year all the Ducati's were at the front, this is not normal. This is why I say that Superbike is like a Ducati Cup. I hope it does not continue going like this, everyone does not enjoy this, and if it continues like this I will not race here."
Finally, the #1 discussed his Sunday on the track and the issues that led to his 13th-place finish and DNF across the two races.
"For me, the Superpole Race was not good from the start as I felt some brake problems," Razgatlioglu explained.
"We were lucky that I did not hit someone, nobody crashed so this is why I am happy.
"For Race Two, we tried to improve the bike but we said it was better to ride yesterday's bike. I felt it was improved and the grip was much better than before and we started to use yesterday's bike.
"But in the race, we had a technical problem, after that I did not continue the race."
