2025 GRAND PRIX OF ARGENTINA: MAXIME RENAUX & KAY DE WOLF TOP ROUND ONE

The 2025 Grand Prix of Argentina saw a return to winning ways for former 250 World Champion Maxime Renaux on his Monster Energy Yamaha YZ450 with 2-1 finishes for the ninth Grand Prix GP victory of his career.
The Ducati factory motocross team claimed both holeshots for Mattia Guadagnini, who would get fourth overall in the 450 class. Kawasaki factory rider Romain Febvre won the first moto in the 450 class for Kawasaki, while Maxime Renaux won the second moto and took the overall victory, while Honda HRC’s Tim Gajser, completed the podium to start his 2025 campaign in typically strong fashion.

The 250 class was won by reigning World Champion Kay de Wolf, who got his ninth 250 Grand Prix victory with 1-5 score on his Nestaan Husqvarna over second moto winner Sacha Coenen, who went 9-1. KTM’s Simon Laengenfelder went 3-6 for third overall—even after suffering two crashes in the second moto.
