Kevin Harvick is going late model racing this weekend. He’ll race at Kern County Raceway.
The track in California is co-promoted by Kevin Harvick himself. The track is a half-mile asphalt oval in Bakersfield, CA.
NASCAR champion joins ownership group of hometown racetrack
The race takes place on Saturday January 25th. It marks the season opener for the facility.
The event will host the SPEARS CARS Tour West, ARCA Menards Series West, Mayhem Machine distraction and it will be capped with a fireworks display.
Kevin Harvick is racing in the CARS Tour division. He’s also a co-owner of the CARS Tour.

The 49-year-old driver is driving the No. 29 late model. The car will be sponsored by Hendrick Cars. Busch Light and Hunt Brothers Pizza are associate sponsors on the car.
T-shirts featuring the new look for his late model have gone up for sale.
Harvick retired from full-time NASCAR racing following the 2023 season. He collected 60 NASCAR Cup Series wins and one championship.
