Stage 1 – Report

Laps: 80 (1-80 / 400)

Green flag, Bell gets the jump and he’s clear before turn one.

Lap 25, Chase Elliott has a run on Bell off turn two. He dives inside into turn three, Elliott to the lead!

Lap 31, caution for debris.

Bell and most of the leaders head for the pit lane. 5 cars stay out.

Green, Josh Berry leads as Cindric spins the tires.

Lap 46, Logano works under Bell for 5th. He’s now the first car with fresh tires.

Lap 71, Chris Buescher spins with help from Carson Hocevar, caution. Buescher cleared himself off the corner but he wasn’t clear.

Berry heads for the pit lane. Logano stays out to take over the lead. Berry has contact with Bubba Wallace on the pit lane and now Berry has a battery issue.

Green, Logano clears them.

Green, Hamlin clears Wallace. Briscoe misses the bottom and he turns Logano, caution.

Green, Hamlin and Bell run side by side into turn one. They rub doors, Hamlin finally clears him.

20 to go, Hamlin leads Bell by 1.2 seconds.
