2025 Ford Everest Wildtrak limited edition returns after sold-out first batch

Another batch of limited-run Ford Everest Wildtrak V6 4WDs is due in Australian showrooms this year, this time restricted to 950 examples.
Ford has resurrected the limited-edition 2025 Everest Wildtrak for another production run – this time limited to 950 vehicles – with the first examples due to arrive by the end of March.
However, the 2025 version is nearly $4000 more expensive than its 2023 equivalent, priced from $76,950 before on-road costs – positioning it as the penultimate Everest grade under the Platinum ($81,200) and above the also-limited Tremor ($76,590).
Coinciding with the price rise are extra features for the Model Year 2025.25 (MY25.25) Everest line-up, which includes the return of a 240-volt, 400-watt power outlet after it was deleted from the previous-generation model in 2021.
The 2025 Everest Wildtrak is distinguished by variant-specific badging, as well as a revised front grille, bumpers, gloss-finish wheel-arch cladding, and chrome roof rails derived from the Ranger Wildtrak ute.
There is also an optional Luxe Yellow colour (pictured above) that is exclusive to the 2025 Everest Wildtrak.
Standard equipment includes a panoramic sunroof with a power sunblind, a surround-view monitor, zone lighting, leather upholstery, front seats with ‘Wildtrak’ embossing and orange stitching, tyre pressure monitoring, and ambient interior lighting.
A set of 20-inch alloy wheels with all-season tyres are fitted as standard, but buyers can option 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tyres at no extra cost.
The Everest Wildtrak is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 turbo diesel engine – also featured in the Sport, Tremor, and Platinum variants – which develops 184kW/600Nm.
It is matched with a selectable four-wheel-drive system – with a ‘4A’ mode that can split power between the front and rear axles as required on sealed roads – via a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Ford claims a maximum braked towing capacity of 3500kg, with the brand offering an optional $2500 Premium Towing Pack that includes a tow bar, integrated trailer brake controller, trailer back up assist, and blind-spot monitoring software that can account for the trailer.
The Wildtrak name is sourced from the Ranger ute on which the Everest is based, offered on the dual-cab since 2009 as a high-grade variant distinguished by orange highlights and a sports bar, among other extras.
George Thomas, Everest Product and Retail Marketing Manager at Ford Australia, said in a media statement the return of the Everest Wildtrak “made perfect sense” after the “sell-out success” of the first production run in 2023, and the rest of the Everest range’s popularity.
The first batch of Everest Wildtrak SUVs sold out before any arrived in Australia, when the vehicle was limited to 800 examples.
“The Everest Sport is the most popular Everest variant, so the spec additions of the Wildtrak make it a fantastic option for buyers that want that little bit more from their Everest [while maintaining] the dual-purpose useability that comes with the Wildtrak badge without jumping to the more luxury-focused Platinum or off-road focused Tremor versions,” a Ford Australia spokesperson said.
Ford recorded 26,494 Everest sales in 2024, with the large SUV accounting about 26 per cent of the brand’s sales last year.
