Hot on the heels of Toyota launching the new-generation Prado, Australian aftermarket firm TJM 4X4 have some barwork at the ready for enthusiasts.

Australian aftermarket four-wheel drive company TJM 4X4 have released a range of frontal protection for the new 2025 Toyota LandCruiser Prado, with three bullbars available.

This release comes only three weeks after the launch of the Prado in Australia, and subsequent unveiling of a modified 250-Series LandCruiser by ARB at SEMA in the United States.

The range includes the ‘Outback’ hooped-design bullbar and the ‘Venturer’ hoopless bar, both of which include 8000kg rated recovery points, 9,500lb winch compatibility and driving light mounting points.

Both bullbars are made of steel, and require a bumper cut for fitment. The Outback bar weights 77kg, but because installation includes the removal of equipment, total weight increase is approximately 50kg.

Without hoops, the Venturer bar weighs 67kg. Total weight increase for the vehicle is 40kg.

Pricing for the TJM Outback and Venturer bullbars are $3250 and $2850, respectively.

Press materials from TJM also mention a ‘Tradesman’ bar for the new-generation Prado, but details for this model are yet to be publicised.

TJM also state that a wider range of accessories, including side steps, side bars, underbody protection, snorkel, XGS suspension, upper control arms, GVM upgrades and a rear bar will be soon made available.

Adopting Toyota‘s modular ‘TNGA-F’ ladder chassis platform from the likes of the 300 Series LandCruiser, Lexus LX and GX, the 250 Series Prado retains the same 2.8-litre ‘1GD-FTV’ turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine (albeit with a 48-volt ‘V-Active’ assistance system).
