Just a week after celebrating a victory in Mexico City, the recent race-winner is now out of the running in the qualifying session for the Brazilian Grand Prix. The incident occurred as he applied throttle, causing the rear wheels to spin and the car to lose control, ultimately leading to the collision.

Fortunately, Carlos Sainz is unharmed and has expressed his apologies to the Maranello team.
