The Lexus LBX Morizo RR performance SUV is due in Australia in the first half of 2025 with a drive-away price in excess of $80,000.
The 2025 Lexus LBX Morizo RR performance light SUV has been detailed for Australia.
Due in Lexus showrooms in the first half of 2025, the LBX Morizo RR is a turbocharged non-hybrid take on the otherwise hybrid-only LBX with the same three-cylinder engine as the Toyota GR Yaris and GR Corolla.
Priced from $76,490 before on-road costs – or more than $80,000 drive-away – the Morizo RR is almost $20,000 dearer than the Lexus LBX Sports Luxury all-wheel-drive hybrid, $13,500 more than the dearest GR Yaris, and $6000 more than the latest GR Corolla.

In Australia, the Morizo RR will be exclusively offered with an eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission at launch, with the six-speed manual available in Japan unavailable locally.
However the vehicle includes steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters and a manual mode for its gear selector.
The Lexus features a 1.6-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine producing 206kW and 390Nm – down from 224kW and 400Nm in Japanese versions, and the local GR Yaris – with a full-time mechanical all-wheel-drive system.

A 5.2-second 0-100km/h acceleration time is claimed.
Riding 10 millimetres lower and 15mm wider than standard variants, the LBX Morizo RR also adds larger 19-inch alloy wheels, Continental SportContact 7 tyres, a new front bumper, vertical fins on the rear, body-coloured wheel arches, and unique lower side sills.
Under the skin, the Morizo RR features a 'Response-Enhancing Damping Structure' with a “thermoset resin in the front lower control arms to enhance steering response and feel across all speeds and driving conditions", along with a stiffer structure and a Torsen limited-slip rear differential.

A two-tone paint option is available for $2000 extra.
