2025 Melbourne Motor Show attendees confirmed
Today at 08:28 PM
The Melbourne Motor Show will return in April after almost 15 years with organisers promising “nine new cars” will be revealed and 23 manufacturers now locked in.
The full list of manufacturers attending the 2025 Melbourne Motor Show has been confirmed ahead of the event on the first weekend in April.
Organisers for the 2025 Melbourne Motor Show have announced 23 vehicle manufacturers will have representation at the event to showcase their new cars, including well-known or strong-selling brands such as Kia, Isuzu Ute, Porsche, Tesla, MG, GWM, and Subaru.
A number of new or returning entrants to the Australian market – mostly from China – will also be present to showcase their brands to the audience, potentially for the first time, such as Deepal, Farizon, Foton, Geely, JAC, Leapmotor, Smart, Xpeng, and Zeekr.
Peugeot has been confirmed for the show through its Inchcape distributor – which will exhibit all of the brands it currently represents – along with Mahindra and German-tuner Brabus, which builds customised Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, Range Rover, and Smart vehicles globally.
Mitsubishi was listed as an attendee in an announcement made by show organisers in December 2024, however it has been removed from the final announcement of vehicle manufacturers.
At least “nine new cars” have been announced to debut at the Melbourne Motor Show, organisers claim, which will include some models from MG, the brand told Drive.
While the brands are yet to confirm what vehicles will be displayed at the show, for Kia, it could include the first public showing of the 2025 Kia Tasman ute due mid-year, along with its EV3, EV5, facelifted EV6, and EV9 electric-car line-up.

The facelifted 2025 Isuzu MU-X off-road SUV launching in Australia in March is also likely to appear, while other potential models could include the updated 2025 Tesla Model Y electric SUV and the new-generation 2025 Subaru Forester hybrid mid-size SUV.
The 2025 Melbourne Motor Show will be held on Saturday April 5, 2025 and Sunday April 6, 2025, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) in Southbank.
Organisers have announced 87 aftermarket exhibitors will also be present at the show, including Hot Wheels, Lego, Red Bull, Shannons Insurance, VPlates (VicRoads’ custom number plates), an electric fire truck from Fire Rescue Victoria, and more.
A full list of exhibitors can be found on the 2025 Melbourne Motor Show website, along with ticket information.

The event is directed by Craig Phinn, who has worked on other automotive events in Melbourne such as the Compello Versus exhibition held at the same venue in April 2024.
It is the first time an event wearing the Melbourne Motor Show title has been held since 2009 – and the last motor show in the city since 2011, when the Sydney and Melbourne events were combined under the ‘Australian International Motor Show’ name before it was cancelled in 2012.
The Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce (VACC) organised the previous iteration of the Melbourne Motor Show, which dated back to 1925, while the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) managed the Sydney event, before a short-lived joint venture was established in 2009 to alternate the show between the two cities each year.
